- I think you're reaching here, just a little. Any explosive force
- capable of tearing apart a vehicle, "scattering little bits" would
- still have enough force to render the occupants "little bits."
- If they were shielded from the blast in some way, the shielding
- would most likely have also survived in a form other than "little
- bits."
